On the way to Granada ...

This was fascinating.
From the moment we entered Spain all the way to Barcelona, the highway medium was covered with these beautiful
 red and white flowery bushes.

The city of Granada was the last great capital of the Moors in Spain before it fell to the Catholic monarchs in 1492.
As we approached Granada we stopped to visit the world-famous Alhambra, an imense hilltop Moorish palace,
as well as, the Generalife, which means "garden of the architect".
The grounds of this beautiful area were designed with waterfalls, courtyards and secret gardens.

A very nice dinner at a local restaurant.
On the left is our outstanding Portuguese bus driver and on the right is our great Tour Guide, Jim Clark.
